Eagles = Miami Heat of the NFL?

With the additions of Nnamdi Asomugha, Cullen Jenkins, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Babin, and Vince Young, many think the Philadelphia Eagles are the team to beat. Vince young even referred to his new team as the “Dream team”. Well I’m going to have to disagree. This is football not basketball, football is way to complex. There are too many deciding factors to be successful in the NFL. And do you really want to be compared to the Miami Heat? The team that couldn’t come away with the trophy? Football’s most important position is the quarterback and even though I’m a Mike Vick fan, I wouldn’t put my future into his hands with his injury prone style of play. The NFL is to competitive for the Eagles to compared to the Miami Heat because there’s really only about 5 elite teams in the NBA while the rest really don’t present a challenge for the 5 elite. Not to mention the NBA only have 5 players on the court at a time. Signing James, Wade, and Bosh is 60% of your line up as opposed to 11 guys on a football field. But Hey if want to be labeled the Miami Heat of NFL I guess you’re happy with second place. GO RAVENS!

Not Clutch?

So what do all the Lebron haters have to say now? Oh he’s not clutch? Wrong, he proved it last night when scoring the Heat’s last 10 points including two big 3s to put them up three and six. So Lebron doesn’t possess that killer instinct and is incapable of closing? He’s definitely capable, now how often he does it remains to be seen.
